How did we get here?

Hi! My name is Molly Wright and I am an aspiring cinematographer and filmmaker!

I grew up in Canberra and fell in love with film the second I picked up a camera. It wasn't until high school that I realised I could turn my passions into a career.

I decided to move to Sydney straight after high school to attend SAE College University. I am currently studying a Bachelor of Film Production and I am due ot graduate in December 2026!

I have been lucky enough to be the cinematographer and camera operator on two short films, Toast and Daisy Chains. I have also been cinematographer for a music video and documentary during my time at SAE. I have also created videos for the brand Thicc Cookies for their social media and website.

I have been able to work on my editing and colour grading skills throughout my course, learning from some of the best in the industry!

I love getting to tell visual stories and love incorporating small details that contribute to the project as a whole. I truly enjoy collaborating with other creatives and adore seeing a collective vision come to life.

My passion is narrative work however nothing is more real than documentary, I am always up for a challenge and I am always wanting to try something new!
